March 1st Week You should start you verbal preparation by doing the most basic thing - start reading a lot! This would give you a headstart in this reading oriented test. The CAT is of two hours where you read for 95% of the time. The minimum daily recommendations are: one newspaper (specially the editorial pages), one weekly magazine and one novel every fortnight.       Start building your comfort in basic maths. Start with devoting 1 week each to maths books (NCERT) of VI to X level.

20th week based small tests logical consistency philosophy, science, psychology permutation and combination
21st week critical reasoning economics, history, metaphysics - any Take small DI tests set theory
22nd week Practise odd word out syllogisms area that you find difficult to comprehend
August 23rd week Practise synonyms (refer to article on verbal ability
24th week Practise antonyms Grammar tests to understand what these are)
25th week Take small tests on all areas
26th week
September 27th week Start taking half hour tests on RC. Seek to improve in areas where you are making errors Start taking half hour tests on DI
28th week Start taking half hour tests on verbal ability section. Seek to improve in areas where you are making errors Start taking half hour tests on Quant -work on improving speed and clarity of thought. Review areas where you make mistakes
29th week Take tests
