Founded in 1954, Faculty of Management studies, Delhi pioneered the concept of management training in India.

The first institute to provide management education in the form of a part time MBA program for professional managers, it has since then been in the fore front of this specialized field.

With a full time MBA program since 1967, FMS has established itself as one of the top management institutes in the country.


Courses Offered

1.  MBA-full time Program

The Master of Business Administration is a two year full-time program. The program. has been organized in a manner to comprise of two semesters in each of the years.

Eligibility

a) Candidates applying for admission to first year of MBA Program must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Program The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:-

i. Arts, Commerce or social Sciences - 50%

ii. Sciences - 55%

iii. Mathematics or Statistics - 60%

iv. Medicine, Science and Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

Or

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree Examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks

Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply

b) Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 1st of October of the year of
admission.

2.  MBA- part time Program

The three-year program. is designed to develop conceptual knowledge and behavioral skills in students who continue to work in industry, government or other organization.

Eligibility

1. You should have have passed with 45% or greater any of the following courses they should have had a 3 year duration at the minimum Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology, Commerce.

 

2. This criteria of 45% can be relaxed if you have a post graduate qualification as well. The post graduate qualifications that are permissible are any Post Graduate Degree with 55% and above or a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management, Management Sales & Marketing or Administrative Management of the University of Delhi with 60 % and above.

 

3. You should have had 3 years or more of work experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelors degree Examination. Three years Full-time experience shall be determined as on 1st August of the year of admission.

 

4. You will need to be sponsored by your employer.

3. Ph.D. At The Faculty Of Management Studies

Eligibility

1.The candidate must have done a M.Phil with a percentage of at least 50%.

2.The candidate must also have had at least 55% in the post graduation.

3.The candidate will need to pass 2 exams in Research methodology.

4.This research criteria can be waived if the candidate has done a research work in post graduation or has a Published work.

5.If there is a student of the M Phil Program who performs at the 'A' level in 1st year, can be considered for direct admission to PhD.

6.Teachers in colleges, or universities can be considered for direct admission if they have worked for 3 years and have got 50% marks or more in post graduation.

7.The application form can be obtained from Room No 11, Faculty of Arts.
Teachers at the University College, and schools recognized by CBSE and Research assistants/ Literary Assistants/ Technical Assistants in University of Delhi need not pay the supervision fee.

Fee Structure

The fee for various programs is payable in three installments every year. The approximate annual fee for the MBA program. is Rs. 11,000. The fee payable at the time of admission is Rs. 6000 approximately
